Please Join Us for Mass this Sunday February 9th @ 11am followed by potluck feast. At 12:30pm we have special guest Clayton Daughenbaugh to show an award winning 15 minute film which features Mark Maryboy who is a leading Navajo conservationist (and SUWA Board member) and a power point presentation which talks about the most current aspects of the national campaign to protect southern Utah’s wilderness lands – including the region containing the Bears Ears National Monument. The larger wilderness proposal is embodied in America’s Red Rock Wilderness Act which is currently before Congress – the lead sponsor is Sen. Durbin of Illinois.
