Please Come Join Us the first Tuesdays of the month on March 3rd, April 7th, May 5th, June 2nd. Will start with prayer and smudging, followed by light lunch and scripture reflection with Deacon Bill.
Please Come Join Us For Mass and Special Short Film Screening about Wild Utah
Please Join Us for Mass this Sunday February 9th @ 11am followed by potluck feast. At 12:30pm we have special guest Clayton Daughenbaugh to show an award winning 15 minute film which features Mark Maryboy who is a leading Navajo conservationist (and SUWA Board member) and a power point presentation which talks about the most current aspects of the national campaign to protect southern Utah’s wilderness lands – including the region containing the Bears Ears National Monument. The larger wilderness proposal is embodied in America’s Red Rock Wilderness Act which is currently before Congress – the lead sponsor is Sen. Durbin of Illinois.
Indigenous Women's Healing Circle
Indigenous Women’s Healing Circle in Partnership with American Indian Health Services of Chicago. Will be on Monday February 17th, 2020 @ 5:30pm. Will start off by sharing a small feast together, bring your feast bag. We will be making Red Dress pins for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women in preparation for the St. Kateri Center Pow Wow - Celebrating Our Future on May 16th, 2020. In partnership with AIHS this years Pow Wow will include a part to honor and bring awareness of Missing Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
Senior Luncheon
Please Come Be Our Guest at our February Senior Luncheon Thursday February 20th, 2020. Doors open at 11:00am. St. Benedict 3rd Graders will be inviting all of us to Kittler Hall for their Readers Theater and our very own Robert Wahapi will share a short story. Followed by our free mini prize bingo. AIHS will be present for blood and glucose testing. Lunch to be served at Noon and will be led to Kittler Hall at 12:40pm.
YNL Valentine Bingo Fundraiser
In partnership with St. Kateri Center of Chicago and Ho-Chunk Chicago Branch Office, we invite the Chicago community to our next Young Native Leaders Prize Bingo. Join us in an afternoon of fun, games, and food as we raise money for our UNITY conference trip.
